Are you sure about that? If that's true, Steve Edwards was a goner, and I 
thought they liked his versatility, as well.

I looked at this as deciding to keep 8 rather than 9 OL and therefore one 
more DL (since Tank is not going on PUP).

Friedman wouldn't have gotten cut.  The Bears liked his ability to back up 
practically every O-line position.  With Friedman gone, I guess this means 
Tyler Reed makes the team.
