I'm only half joking here....

Think about our pre-season.  Remember how exasperated everyone was with Rex
then?  Remember why?  No, not why you were frustrated, but rather, why Rex
seemed be bewildered out there?  Remember what happened when the season
started?  Figured it our yet?  Yes, it was because the team wasn't going to
show the rest of the league anything... Nada, squat. And then the Bears
'unleashed' in the season opener.  They destroyed their opponents in a
manner the likes have rarely ever been seen.  Astoundingly dominant.

What if.... what if.... the Bears decided to pull the reigns back a bit,
knowing they can crush at will, so teams will game plan for the Bad Bears
instead of the Juggernaut Bears?  what if it's all just a ruse to lull the
rest of the league into a false sense of hope?

Yeah, yeah.... that's the ticket.  I like it and I'm going with it.  Think
of them, when the playoffs start, as one of those trap door tarantulas,
ready to spring on any poor, unsuspecting team that happens to wander over
the seeming not so deadly landscape of Soldier field.

*WHACK!!* What was that!?!   Seahawks?  Where'd you go?  Hello?  They were
just here a minute ago.   *WHACK!!!*  What?!? Cowboys?!?  Where are you?!?
Yo! Cowboys?!?  I don't like this, this is getting scary.....  *WHACK!!!!!*

Go Bears!!!!
