The only way there wouldn't be one is if Rex shows that he's more the Rex of
the first 5 games and not the Rex of the last 7 the rest of the season.  But
if he continues to struggle and is eventually benched, there has to be a
open competition.

Her needs to be that anyway.  Don't forget that Orton will have had his year
on the bench to watch and mature, as well.
