This is all true and I have a hard time respecting someone who would hide
behind a keyboard.
But there's something more irritating at the root and I try to avoid it as
much as possible myself. Kevin views posts to the Internet as a debate to
be won not as a search for the truth. Insults and name calling are a part
of cutting you down in an effort to make people think you and, by
connection, your opinions are less valid.
When posting to the Internet I try never to make the mistake of viewing
differences in opinion as contests to be won. When most people do the same,
as would appear to be the case most of the time here, it makes the
environment allot more pleasant.
