the more I read about Lelie the less I like him.

That's the problem, we just don't know with the guys you mentioned.
Potential? Yes, absolutely. But I can see why people (besides us)
aren't high on the Bears offense.

BTW, Lelie is hardly a retread. He's an egomanic WR (what WR isn't?)
but how can you blame the guy when he's being pushed down the depth
chart when his contract is coming due? He has talent and he's been
more productive than anyone currently on our roster other than Moose.

Will our current WRs be better this season? No doubt. But if we're
going to be in the SB chase then I want the best team on the field
possible. If the price is low enough I'd take him in a second and show
Gage the door.
