Are we talking about the same Mike Green here? He started for four years and
was a horrible fit for Lovie's new defensive system.
He wasn't replaced by a rook so much as tossed out on his ass after one
game. I found it interesting that Todd Johnson couldn't take the spot. Big
hits, little impact.
Coaches raved about how well Harris took to the position, but they raved
about Kyle Orton, too. His spot is open for competition. Three interceptions
and eight passes defensed is nothing to sneeze at, but it can definitely be
improved upon. I think Harris is a workable starter but a wonderful backup.
