I have no doubt Kevin will get some kind of perverse shot to the ego when he
hears that he's the topic of discussion over here... and I'm sure it will
get back to him if it has not already.
And while I don't disagree with a word that Jim, Tom and Steve said (you
three have, in fact, articulated what I could not), I also agree with Matt;
I don't see much reason to keep discussing. It's unlikely my opinion of him
will ever change and I'm sure somebody like Pat feels the same. So, we
agree to disagree and then look ahead to things like training camp,
hold-outs* and the start of the season.
I've been told the opposite of love is not hate; it's indifference. Perhaps
that's why I now find the topic of Kevin tiresome.

*Side note: I find it ironic that the year the Bears are the first team to
sign all of their draft picks before camp, they are faced with hold-outs by
returning starters like Briggs and Thomas. Go figure.
