that is a fair assessment.
Too bad it does not excuse his lack of apology. When I say something that
incites people and gets them upset at me, I can't imagine them thinking I
meant a jesting remark seriously. It would eat at me forever. To pretend
that it's someone else's problem, that they can't take a joke because you
didn't craft it properly, that's the real issue.
Why is it that that damn bastard Jerry knows that when I call him names I'm
joking? Because sometimes we talk like friends. Because if I said something
that was taken harshly, I don't assume it was Jerry's fault. KCS just takes
everything and builds and builds and builds. That's a serious problem, and I
had hoped that with Chuck and Jerry and I gone and him getting a break from
the tension it would have changed. Very sad that it has not.
