Fog Bowl), Chicago is prepring for a return trip to the Super Bowl, hosting
the NFC Championship game a bitterly cold Soldier Field.  San Francisco
thumps Chicago 28-3, then wins SB XXIII and cements their title as team of
the 80's that should have belonged to the BEARS!!

>   December 23, 1991 Another Monday night beating.  Despite making the
playoffs, Chicago travels to San Francisco to finish the year.  The 49ers
humiliate Chicago before a national audience 52-14.  The loss puts Detroit
in the playoffs and we have to witness the Lions head coach (Wayne Fontes??)
lighting a victory cigar on National TV.

season with a franchise worst 1-13 season, the Bears lose a coin toss to the
Pittsburgh Steelers (ironically the only team the Bears defeated that year).
Pittsburgh selects Terry Bradshaw and Chicago trades the number 2 overall to
Green Bay for 3 veteran players that only played for the Bears for no more
than two seasons each.
