And even if there is not somebody like Pat out there, Pat does feel this
way.......
My thoughts on Briggs and Jones are that they will be in camp. They both
have a lot to lose. The Bears are prepared to move on without them, no
matter how their past production was. Back-ups or not, I'd like to see them
there as well.

|I have no doubt Kevin will get some kind of perverse shot to the ego when
he
| hears that he's the topic of discussion over here... and I'm sure it
will
| get back to him if it has not already.
|
| And while I don't disagree with a word that Jim, Tom and Steve said (you
| three have, in fact, articulated what I could not), I also agree with
Matt;
| I don't see much reason to keep discussing. It's unlikely my opinion of
him
| will ever change and I'm sure somebody like Pat feels the same. So, we
| agree to disagree and then look ahead to things like training camp,
| hold-outs* and the start of the season.
|
| I've been told the opposite of love is not hate; it's indifference.
Perhaps
| that's why I now find the topic of Kevin tiresome.

|
| *Side note: I find it ironic that the year the Bears are the first team
to
| sign all of their draft picks before camp, they are faced with hold-outs
by
| returning starters like Briggs and Thomas. Go figure.
