15? Maybe. But that's the top half of the star linebackers on each team.
Each team should have a pretty damn good linebacker that gets paid well,
just like they all need a good CB and an anchor offensive lineman and a
pass-rushing DE. There are, what, 12 Pro Bowl linebackers each year, so that
would be about par. Having two of them is undoubtedly a luxury.
What I do know is that Briggs, while he's not perfect, is a special player
who is a definite playmaker. The knock on him coming out of college, which
made his draft status drop, was that he was not tough enough, and he has
definitely shed that.
