[CBFF] CT: Vasher joins list of angry Bears

OK, I just reread what I wrote and sounded like more of a hard-ass than I
meant to.

I agree with him holding out of OTAs to make a point. The front office has
bigger fish to fry now (Lance Briggs), however, than a guy with two years
left on his contract who had a great, great year but still wasn't asked to
be a shutdown corner on Steve Smith in the playoff loss.

One shutdown corner would have taken care of their offense plain and simple,
but we didn't have that. I sure hope he isn't being deluded into thinking
that a Pro Bowl appearance means he should get top 5 money. I seem to recall
Mark Carrier getting 10 intereceptions and then never coming close again.

If he's holding out of OTAs to say "You better notice and take care of me
when you get a chance," I'm all for it. They should use whatever salary cap
money they can spare in November and use it to add to his signing bonus. But
if he starts holding out with two years left on a rookie contract, that is
not cool.
