  <SIGH>

Once again I am forced to defend my honour as the degenerate Pat Quinn
seizes the opportunity to drag my name through the mud by taking a private
conversation public.

*****Never happened...the opportunity was seized by Vic.*****

   It's my fault, really.

*****Everything's always your fault, Matt. *****

I gave Pat the benefit of assumption that he was a decent human being.
Clearly I (heck, we ALL) should know better.

*****So, you don't think I'm a decent human being because I answered Vic's
public post?*****

Tomorrow I'm driving down to Akron for a Tuesday job interview.

*****Take a look around the town before committing to working there.*****

If Pat is man enough to back his words, I'm willing to drive West from
Akron to do battle either on Tuesday night or any time on Wednesday.

*****Have you every known Pat to NOT back his words? Tuesday and Wednesday
are not good.*****

Pat picks the Buffalo Wild Wing restaurant and Time.

Some clarifications: I don't believe Pat knows me in a 'wing-eating'
capacity, or at least, not like Vic does.

*****You've got to be kidding...I know you in a (insert food here)-eating
capacity! We bring an extra 30 pounds of meat to games when we know you'll
be there!*****

Instead, Pat knows me in a
"guy-who-eats-ridiculously-hot-things-for-no-apparent-reason" capacity.

*****You've got me there. Eating my habenero and cayennes, and chasing
with jalepeno/habenero juice certainly takes the cake! *****

So let's go with that. Also, I don't know Pat's wing capacity, but I
feel I can safely believe Pat can pound down dozens of the hottest wings due
to developed immunities. Hence why he challenged me initially.

*****Not really, just love wings....lots of em.*****

I don't have these immunities, so straight up "most Blazin' wings" isn't
really a competition.

  *****But it would be funny*****

Instead, I declare the following: If Pat re-accepts this challenge, I
vow to eat AT LEAST 12 Blazin' wings, twice my previous Blazin' high. Pat
mentioned privately being able to double me up, so perhaps his victory mark
could be two dozen.

I would be willing to subject myself to such pain simply for the
opportunity to possibly see Pat Quinn sweat. And trust me, I'll be in pain.
I also invite all group members to attend/participate once Pat announces the
time and place. Should he dare.

*****OH.......HE DARES ALRIGHT!!!!! We've done the hot wings before for
tailgating. It will be at a game this fall. Deep fried, then
grilled......very heavily marinated wings. Thousands of them........be
ready!*****

One of us should probably bring a camera. And remember, in competitions
like these, it's not whether you win or lose, it's how drunk you get.

*****No, it's who wins and who can discuss the game afterwards. *****

Pat, if you respond to this, you should know I most likely won't have
email access after about 1pm tomorrow. So if I haven't responded, hit me on
my cell phone.

*****You mean hit you "with" your cellphone?*****

    Good night and good luck,
    Matt Langschwager

*****I don't need luck. Have a good day, and thanks for the laugh!

  Pat*****

  Matt-
I bragged you up to Pat regarding your wings record. I believe he's
going to propose a challenge to you.
