There's an article here http://www.footballoutsiders.com/2006/05/04/ramblings/nfl-draft/3880/ where a guy looked at the draft ratings of eight "experts" and made a few conclusions from them.
Jarrett Bell (USA Today) 1 Ron Borges (MSNBC) D- Rick Gosselin (Dallas Morning News) D Mel Kiper (ESPN Insider subscription required) B Mark Maske (Washington Post) C- Dan Pompei (Sporting News) B- Pete Prisco (CBS Sportsline) C- Dr. Z (Sports Illustrated) D Average C-
It's probably formatted weird because I'm using Yahoo Mail and it hates to let anything go through WYSIWYG.
There's also a paragraph about how wildly different the Bears draft was graded:
"Chicago: Dr. Z was quite hurt by Jerry Angelo not returning his phone calls in what was the real highlight of any of the draft grade articles. Despite liking the Bears picks, he gave them a D. The variance in grades here was an analysis of whether you liked the Bears selections or not; the high point seemed to only be a B because no one liked the Bears picking entirely for defense. Both Kiper and Pompei really liked the pick of DE Mark Anderson in the fifth round."
