Ordinarily I would have blown this off.  But unfortunately we're not talking
about just another schmuck national commentator who follows 32 teams and
doesn't know jack about the Bears.  Landry didn't just waltz in and write
this off the cuff.  As you know, he writes scouting reports for the Tribune
on game weeks - good ones.

Even given the obvious axe he has to grind with Greg Gabriel, when a real
football guy who probably knows the Bears better than anyone outside the
organization itself complains, I start to worry a little more.
