[CBFF] Sweetness is to blame or not?

I'm currently reading a great book written by John
Mulling called "The Rise and Self-destruction of the
Chicago Bears and SB XX".

During this season Sweetness bought all the offensive
linemen a shotgun to show his appreciation for their
hard work.

Is this the moment in history to which all current
problems with Bears-players (Kreutz, Miller) can be
allocated?

PS As I am an avid reader I try to get as many books
about Da Bears as possible (thank you Amazon).
I will post my list of books sometime later this week
and I am curious if any of you have other books as well.
