[CBFF] CBFF Blog: "Arrogant" Angelo Laughs Last

Angelo short history here suggests he'd rather grab proven OLs over
drafting young guys. I'm happy with that provided there are enough guys
on the market (and cap room) to make it work year after year as players
need to be replaced.

I feel differently about the RB situation. We seem to have a solid
stable with Jones, Benson and AP. Jones frustrates me because he doesn't
seem to go on the attack often enough, instead he tries to juke (sp?) to
make the defender miss. More often than not he gets wrapped up at that
point instead of pushing for an extra yard or two. Even against a LB he
should be able to lower his shoulder and plow ahead for some extra
yardage. He did this moreso in the SF game than any other this season so
hopefully he'll build on that success in the upcoming games.

Overall I think everyone has flaws, success is a matter of limiting
mistakes, good game planning, and making the best use of the talent on
hand. The window for grabbing a SB win often closes quickly so the real
test for JA will be to plug the holes quickly and effectively as players
depart. So far I'm not too concerned. Even the best GMs have difficulty
staying on top for more than a few seasons at a time.
