Ray Lewis was never convicted...in fact the charges were dropped. I know it
was a "plea bargain" but if they really had enough to convict him on a
double homicide charge, they never would have dropped those charges and
charge him, instead, with obstruction of justice for lying to protect his
buddies...
That being said, he should have been suspended for the obstruction charges
to which he plead guilty
