Seriously Matt, did we need this level of analysis??

:)

I was just very surprised that the Jets fans were more apathetic than my
experiences with fans in Minnesota. Jerry and Behr know what I'm taking
about.

The Jets beat NE, but pragmatic fans have to know their team is overachieving, and that they'd be really lucky to get a win over Chicago. By comparison, the Giants were an NFC contender with a five-game winning streak getting Chicago at home after their first loss. The Giants fans fully expected a win, and would become even more vocal after going up 13-3. I imagine had the Jets taken an early lead, the crowd would have come alive. Early scoring by the home team can really pump a crowd up. Urlacher's INT probably killed off a lot of the optimism.

I'm sure Jets fans would be much more vocal for the teams they really hate, like the Fins, Pats, and Raidahs.
