Unprepared? I wouldn't say that so much as they weren't properly
prepared. They hardly ran the ball. They came out of the gates
throwing on their first series and stuck with that formula for the
rest of the game. As a result, the Bears D-line overwhelmed their
O-line and made every member of our secondary a shut-down player.
On the other side, the Bears did commit to the run, which kept their
defense honest and allowed us to exploit them on play action.
Still not used to the Bears having the ability to go down field at
will. Jerry Angelo may make a believer out of me yet.
