Holmgren along was not responsible for the success he had as a coach against
he bears. That's my point.

Last year, Mike Holmgren went to the Super Bowl while coaching the Seahawks.
Matt Hasslebeck was the QB. I'd say that disproves your assertion that
Holmgren has done nothing without Favre. OTOH, Favre has not been to a Super
Bowl without Holmgren. There are a lot of other differences between the
teams, but if you want to look at their relative succes at a glance, that's
what you get.
