I wouldn't rush to judgement on the Bears. Typically, a team will wait for
the NFL to take action - whose job it is to do so. Once the commissioners
office has rendered a decision, the team will then decide if they need to
levy an additional sanction against the player. Right now, the NFL is still
reviewing the documentation.
The accusations of making racial and sexually comments are pretty serious,
but consider the source first. If ever there was a
"believe-none-of-what-you-read-and-hear-and-only-half-of-what-you-see" daily
publication out there, it's the NY Post. That rag is just one adverb away
from being a grocery line tabloid. I'm not putting this behavior past RMJ,
but I'm in no position to pin it on him either.
