Did your "friend" say "playoffs" in regards to the Vikings?? I suppose 
it could happen since there are two wild card teams, but it should be 
obvious to anyone paying attention this season that the Vikings *will 
not* win the division. They are not a team that went 15-1 the previous 
season and by a few bad breaks (re: injuries) ended up with the wild 
card instead........I'm talking about last year's Steelers. *If* the 
Vikings make the playoffs they will play on the road and will get 
bounced in their first game. Their offense will not "get their act 
together" because there's not much there to begin with.

So even though the power ranking are 99 percent b.s. I'd say caveat your 
response with that fact but definitely make him aware that you know he's 
jealous.
