No, not publicly. But players have made it very clear that Lovie's style is 
to say good things in public and let you know in private if you screwed up 
badly.

Real discipline is usually controlled by the CBA, so it's up to the league. 
What, are we supposed to just dump him right after signing him? Fact is, 
he's on a short leash with the league and with the courts. He can't afford 
to screw up, anyway. And what are you going to do, suspend him for a couple 
of games six months after the incident actually happened?

I'd argue that Lovie and this organization do have one
glaring weakness. They don't don't make players
culpable for off-field incidents or acknowledge that
those problems exist. As much as I liked the Bears
getting two interceptions, it made me a little sick to
know it was Manning, Jr. I think it's an area they can
improve on, not that it should be a reason to get rid
of them, but I really hope we don't get to the same
place Cincinnati's at.
