[CBFF] How long till the love for Lovie?

"Ricky Manning is not the person who beat this individual, who punched this
individual and caused injuries," attorney and agent James Ivler said. "The
district attorney acknowledged this in open court, which is why probation
was accepted by the judge in a felony assault charge. It is a bitter pill to
swallow, but if there [was] a trial, there [was] the chance of missing time,
and if something crazy happens, he's going to jail. Ricky was there, there
was an altercation and a physical touching. He put himself in a bad
situation."

I don't understand how you can take everything at face
value from people who have every reason to lie about
the situation but not trust the word of the victim at
all. Earlier you mentioned several times that the DA
cleared him of some of this - where's your proof that
he said those things? I supplied the information that
I used to draw my conclusions. BTW, Maurice Jones-Drew
was also at the Denny's when the incident happened but
the charges were dropped against him, so it's not like
this is all about the money or football players or
whatever you think.

If your statement was just addressing the coaches then
I guess I have to remind you of a coach who kept
claiming that everything was fine with the OC and he
trusted him completely. How about the faith JA had in
Chad Hutchinson until we saw how bad he was in
preseason? Lovie Smith hadn't even heard of the
Probation Report, so how does he know more than us?
These guys make mistakes all the time and I don't see
any value in just accepting their statements as the
absolute truth. I assume they did something, but I
don't think it was enough if he plays every game.
