              .main_content_well {font-size:11px;}            LAKE FOREST, Ill. – The Bears on Tuesday placed rookie linebacker Jamar Williams on injured reserve and moved first-year linebacker Rod Wilson from the practice squad to the 53-man roster. The team then filled Wilson’s spot on the practice squad by signing wide receiver Brandon Rideau.
           
Rookie Jamar Williams played in the first three games of the season.Williams injured his shoulder while covering a kickoff late in the third quarter of Sunday’s 19-16 win over the Minnesota Vikings. In three games this season, the fourth-round draft pick from Arizona State registered three special teams tackles and broke up one pass on defense. 
  Williams is the Bears’ second 2006 draft pick to land on injured reserve, following third-round defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek, who is out for the season with a foot injury. 
  Wilson, a 2005 seventh-round pick from South Carolina, spent his entire rookie year on injured reserve after sustaining a knee injury in a preseason win over the Buffalo Bills. Wilson was waived during final cuts Sept. 2 before being signed to the practice squad the next day.
  Rideau joined the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent rookie in 2005 out of Kansas. He split his rookie year between Cleveland’s practice squad and active roster, but did not appear in a regular-season game. Rideau was waived by the Browns Aug. 28.
