[CBFF] ESPN - Washington awaiting Bears' answer on Briggs trade

If we can get a decent player along WITH the 6th overall pick, I say let him
go. At the convention, JA said that a long term contract with Briggs was
highly unlikely. He gave the whole "we want him on our team in '07" schpeel,
but not long term. So let him go, IF it's a good enough deal. It won't do
anyone any good having such a disgruntled player on the roster...especially
one who has already said he won't contribute for more then 1/2 the season...
