That only applies if you know what you're doing wrong.  Doing the same thing
over and over again expecting a different result every time is the
definition of insanity.  I think this falls under that category.

I don't remember specifically which play you're talking about but I don't
mean little naked dumps out into the flat.  I mean full-fledged screen
passes with linemen out in front blocking.  Plays like that have been
sporadic at best over the last two years and its killed them.

In any case, whether you agree or not, once the season starts Turner doesn't
fight these things.  From what I can see, he concentrates on what the team
does best and he usually abandons what they don't whether than spending a
lot of time trying to fix it.  If Kyle Orton struggles to throw a long
sideline pass, Turner just doesn't call the plays.  IMO this really isn't
any different in Turner's mind.
 
Personally I would agree with Turner in that I don't think they should run
plays during a game that don't have a reasonable chance of success.  But I
also think every team should be able to set up a good screen pass and every
good coordinator should be able to teach a team how to do it right.  That's
why I'm disappointed.
