[CBFF] Draft

Of course a lot depends on whether the Bears actually end up trading
Briggs somewhere. Draft day deals are always a lot of fun though there
would have to be some behind the scenes negotiation regarding a
contract for Briggs before this were to happen.
That said, my expectation is they will stand pat with the current
picks and continue as JA says with Briggs being expected to be a part
of the team. I'd love for an impact WR with either our first two
picks, but even though I haven't researched the possibilities I'm not
the least bit expecting any significant contribution from anyone other
than Moose, Berrian, Davis and Bradley. WRs are too much of a mystery.
Speaking of mysteries, I'm guessing this will be Currie's last shot to
make an appearance in a Bears uniform. We're going to get a WR
somewhere in the draft, it's just a matter of where, which means
Currie will be staving off final elimination. Too bad it's been the
injuries, maybe he'll be like Columbo and land on his feet with
another team.
