C'mon Teri, a mother's viewpoint is slightly skewed.  It's best just to ignore her.  And I'm sure that if one of your children is ever convicted in, oh say, a quadruple homocide, you'd be telling anyone within earshot that he's not a bad kid, I've seen the good in him that others can't seem to see, blah blah blah.
