It just goes to show that it really doesn't mean a whole lot under the 
current scheduling system.

The Lions and Bears play mostly the same opponents. The one difference
is 
each other. The Bears had 10 more wins than the Lions and play them
twice. 
That's 20 games. Now go count the difference between the toughest and
the 
easiest schedules. It's 20 games.

Completely meaningless. If you exclude playing each other, the Bears
have a 
significantly tougher schedule than the Lions -- 10 games tougher.

Why does anyone bother with this anymore?
