[CBFF] Project Calendar

In my office, I have one of those 'Year-a-glance' project calendars.
It's the kind whereby they layout each month in a straight line.
(What can I say? I'm a 2-D, linear thinker). Today I pulled-up the
Bears schedule and sharpie'd in their games. Seeing the schedule like
this, it was a little easier for me to make a few obersavations that
most of you probably made the first time you saw it:

1 - We'll know pretty early in the season if the Bears match-up well
against a supposedly improved Lions team. We'll have both of our
games against them over by the end of October.

2 - Not only do we have three games ON the west coast (SD, Oak, Sea),
they'll be in three of the more hostile environments in the league.

3 - Only two games in domes.

4 - In the first 8 games (prior to the Bye) only one team, IMHO,
doesn't have a decent run game (GB).

5 - Four of the last six games are at home; nice way to end the season.

6 - However, that last stretch of games includes a Thursday night game
on the road in Washington.

7 - However, after that Thursday night game, we won't see the Bears
for 11 days when they play at Minnesota on MNF.

8 - This is only the second year since the Bears were moved to the NFC
North and Tampa was moved to the NFC South, that we haven't played the
Bucs. Which means it is only the second year since the Bucs came into
the league that we haven't played them.
