Agreed, but is it worth keeping him around if he can't hang on to the
ball or get open? It also seems like he's come close to throwing his QBs
under the bus when he doesn't get the ball.
More to the point, Moose's spot is one of those areas where we could
definitely improve. Why continue overpaying an over-the-hill veteran on
the backside of his career during a time when the offense is clearly
going to be rebuilding?
