Rex was 6/8 in the first half if, I believe, I saw that graphic
correctly. The way I saw it was that the Bears *did* try and run the ball,
but was stuffed, and if it wasn't for the long Jones run, they would have
been been even uglier. Turner, IMHO, should have implemented the quick hit
passing game that he broke out on the final couple series of the game when
it was all but over. Turner did not trust Rex to throw the ball. It was
apparent that he was counting on the defense and special teams as a
supplement to his offense, which is chickenshit for an OC to do.
Again, 6 of 8 in the first half..... Tells me Rex wasn't doing
horrible and we should have leaned on him more.
