Vic, I would agree 110% to everything you say above. Where was our TE's??
They weren't there because they weren't in the game plan. HOW CAN THAT
BE??!!?? After starting the season with Rex having some of his best games
by getting the TE's involved... why go away from it like they did the last
half of the season and the playoffs?? I thought they were trying to keep
that YE game under wraps for the SB, but it never materialized. It's not
like our TE gave Turner any reason *to* go away from them... he just...did.
Immensely frustrating and borderline inexcusable. I say borderline, because
as pissed as I am at Turner, he did open up our offense to new and unseen
productivity with the passing game for alot of the season. I would be
afraid of getting another ultra Conservative OC if we went and replaced
him. But daaaaamn, Ron.... you gotta know when your forehead's bruised and
bleeding from banging it against that stone wall time and time again... You
gotta remember what worked for you in times past and TRY IT!!! You gotta
show *some* imagination... Or you gotta go.

Rex's poor decisions late in the game were what sealed the deal, but

It was if things didn't change (hell, we were only down by 2 at half!!) I
was incredibly frustrating to see the same ol' same ol' at the start of the
2nd half.

We lost because the Colts were able to dictate the flow of the game due to:

Right. But did you see the same play time and time again (clear the DB's
with deep routs and then swing somebody underneath with a dink or a dunk??)
and we still would not adjust?? Come on, cover that guy and lets see if
Peyton, in the rain, can hit his guys deep or if they can hang on in the
rain if he does, but let's stop this slow death by Chinese water torture .
Anything but another 3 down completion underneath... aaaaauuuugggggg.....

2. The Benson and Reid fumbles. Even though they didn't result

We gave them *2* td's on 'oops' plays... this one and Rex's INT. It sucks
when you gift wrap the SB for the other team.

Next year, we kick ass.
