[CBFF] Bears showing Rivera the door

I'm not really sure what to think. I hope Babich is all that Lovie thinks
he is.

But I was never really impressed with Rivera's play calling or adjustments.
And playing off the WRs in the SB when the Pats showed that the way to beat
the Colts is to bump the WRs and disrupt their timing. And Urlacher went
from being an effective blitzer to a crappy one. He had good sack totals
his first few years. That goes with all the LBs. I swear, no one knew how
to blitz effectively except when Manning or Vasher got lucky and were
unblocked.

This WILL sting some people, but Rivera never impressed me as a player,
and even more so as a coach. I think he was in the right place, at the
right time both as a player, and even more so as a coach.

I am ok with this, if its true.

Dwayne

According to The Score, the Bears will NOT be offering Ron Rivera a
new contract, and subsequently will be promoting their LB coach to
D-Coordinator. More to come...
