That man would be Adrian Peterson, who has shown to be a very capable
RB. What you are suggesting is the nature of the NFL........why guys
like Briggs expect a big payday as will Vasher very very soon (the
latter being an extreme bargain as a 3rd rounder still playing on his
rookie contract). In the salary cap era once you build a good/great team
the difficulty is keeping it together. Some teams do better than others
but the name of the game is "most bang for the buck." So far JA has done
a very good job, but he has some tough decisions to make after this
coming season.
