[CBFF] What to think

The last few weeks have been troubling... Complacency killed this team against Miami. After going two for two out East, our execution on both sides of the ball put another game in the loss column. Now the Green Bay game.
This turn on/off at will attitude is disconcerting to say the least.
There are a few silver linings:
Chicago allowed only three first downs and 90 yards or less in the first half of both the Tampa and Detroit game. Chicago shut down Tampa in overtime and stepped up to put down Detroit until the last drive. With Detroit going down to Dallas and beating the "boys" when they had a potential home playoff game on the line was enjoyable. and gave more credance to what we have been hearing: defense has been working on personnel and schemes more than game planning for the last few opponents.
Benson is showing more and more each week and could end up being a huge contributor in the post-season.
Robbie Gould got back in to a groove.
On the other hand:
The offensive line play was not good Sunday night. Rex struggles when he doesn't get time in the pocket.
The condition of the playing field is BAD!!! Whoever is responsible (the Bears, the league or the park district) should have re-sodded the entire field, not just between the numbers... There was one play in particular where Berrian was running a pattern and lost his footing out side the numbers just as he was breaking back toward the middle of the field... Flashbacks to the terrible footing we had against the Panthers in last year's playoff loss....
R. Davis didn't even make an attempt to fight for the ball that ended up being Rex' second interception Sunday. That was troubling IMO....
