[CBFF] National Perception of Rex

Tom, it is just Rex... IMHO the *Bears* have been a target and it's been
blatant all year. When they were doing great early on, the compliments
(other than the game announcers) came very grudgingly, and as soon as they
took a turn, it was as though they couldn't wait to drag the Bears thru the
coals. Now you're seeing that they rarely get mention unless it's something
negative.
For the life of me, I don't know what it is... Is it because the Bears have
been so bad they just can't fathom they're better now? Maybe it's the huge
national following that is starting to come out of the woodwork now that
they're back? Or all of the 85 comparisons early on, and there's a lot of
people who hate that 85 team for being so dominant and still being in the
headlines all these many years later...
Whatever it is, it pisses me off to no end... and that's probably their
intent as well... well, not me personally... but... oh, never mind!
