[CBFF] Who Is the Real Loser?

Seen field turf being installed in a lot of places, and it's crossed my mind
as well, whether or not the Bears should install it. But 'home field
advantage' is accounted for by many factors. Yes, the main ones being a
talented team and a loud fan base. Still, others are a little more subtle;
swirling winds, temperature (ok, that one isn't so subtle), and the field.
I still have few, if any reservations about natural grass... Poor field
condition? The slipping and sliding of a mud bowl? The Bears should always
be prepared for the worse case scenario that a natural grass field...
*THEIR* natural grass field.. could offer, while the visiting team may or
may not. Too bad for them.

In my opinion, weather and the havoc it plays with the game and the field
it's played on, should always be a part of the game in some manner. Sad and
sorry will be the day when muddied uniforms are no longer a part of the
game.

Just my 2 cents worth.
