The Seahawks were forced by injuries at cornerback to cobble together a
secondary that included *Pete Hunter, *who had been *working as a loan
officer in Dallas a week earlier.* Hunter knocked down the Cowboys' final
Hail Mary pass in the end zone Saturday to save the game. A week earlier,
the Seahawks signed cornerback *Rich Gardner *to fill out the roster.

"Well, usually you don't have a lot of loan officers back there playing,"
Seahawks coach *Mike Holmgren *said. "I'll be nervous until we stop playing.
Bless their hearts, they're playing as hard as they can, but they've only
been here a couple of days. All of a sudden you're throwing them out there
in a playoff situation."
