No, man. Not true. I never once thought he was going to continue to screw 
up. I always saw them as individual games in which he was outtthinking 
himself.

I thought he was the next coming of McMahon after his rookie season. After 
the two games last year, I said, whoa, he is better than I remembered. And 
after the start this year, I thought (and still do) that he would be much 
better than McMahon ever was. But he had to get a lot more experience 
reading defenses first.

In fact, I've been saying all year that he made a ton of bad decisions in 
his early games but didn't get caught on them. He finally did against 
Arizona, then had to adjust. It was the same crap Romo went through at the 
end of the season. Kind of like a sophomore slump. Nothing to worry about 
unless you see a downward spiral in his confidence, and he never showed 
that.

There's still room for me to be wrong, of course. But you can put me in the 
"never lost faith" camp.
