Never, not once!
Griese is a great back up, but nothing more.

 
The whole I've been on bandwagon from day 1 is nice, but let's be
serious there was a point this season where he had played poorly
enough to warrent Griese's name being bandied about. To Grossman and
Lovie's credit they stuck it out.
