It was bandied about.  But not by me.  Truthfully not by a lot of people
here.  You can say it was stupid not to consider it at that time but I, at
least, am on record.  I never thought Grossman was as bad as the media made
him out to be then just as I don't think he's as bad as they make him out to
be now.

The problem with these guys is that, especially if you are a QB, you are
either the greatest ever or the worst ever.  There's no in between.  There's
no inconsistency of youth.  There's no sophomore slump.  There's no nothing
except "he sucks".  As fans without deadlines who don't have to sell papers
or distill it down to a 5 second sound bite that any moron can understand,
we can at least afford to strike a balance.
