[CBFF] 10 things begin wth No. 8

I think the thing that really ruffled Angelos (and several other GMs feathers)
was the dog and pony show Rosenhaus put on with Briggs at the owners meeting
trying to drum up a trade. The other negotiating tactics which have been used
have been pretty standard, but parading Briggs up to every owner that might
have some interest was over the top. That being said, I don't know that it
substantially changed the likelihood Briggs would be traded. Rosenhaus tried
to use the $ offer he got from Washington to shame JA into signing Briggs for
that kind of contract or trading him for less than he was worth. JA
appropriately didn't bite and the deal died.
