I think the constant griping in the press by Briggs and DR DID decrease his
trade value.  It sent a lot of leverage away from the Bears and to a
possible trade partner because they could always hold it over JA's head that
he's got this really disgruntled guy whose causing a media distraction.
That pressure is something a shrewd trading partner would exploit.  I
suspect that might have been what led Washington to hold its ground and
refuse to throw in their LB in the trade.
