Yes I did.

True story: On the day that eBay went public I was watching them on a
live ticker.  They opened at 17.  By mid-morning they fell to 10, so I
dismissed them.  After the market closed, I looked to see where they
were and they had finished somewhere around 33 or 36, as I recall.  I
was so skittish about Internet stocks at the time (remember stocks
like Excite and Lycos, which have since gone the way of the Dodo) that
I still refused to buy-in.
