In his editorial today, he titles his article:

Fans deserve more from Briggs
His silence won't heal any wounds

Dude, what's the point? *EVERYONE* and their grandmother know why he said
the things he did: *he wanted the big payday.*

It didn't work. He's back. He's eating crow. Yet, Haugh wants to make this
personal. He wants to shovel crow down Briggs' throat at much as possible
and try to rile up the fans in the process.

What, is Training too boring for you, with all the non-stories, all the
non-controversies, all the good vibes and great performances so far?
**
Fan's wounds'??? What "wounds"??? Sure, there were some upset people, but
I'll guarantee you they were mostly upset because Briggs might not be
playing this season.... not because of the things he said. My god, how
utterly ignorant is this guy?? Answer, he's not ignorant, he's just playing
the contraversy card just to rile up people and make controversy where there
is none. Might sell him a few more newspapers. Might get his name
mentioned in some conversations.

Obviously Haugh had big plans to write about Briggs' lengthy holdout, but
had those plans blow up when Briggs made it in for practically the start of
camp.

Get over it.
