I agree with Tom here.  It is still way too easy for people to blame Rex, or
the weather, or whatnot.  What really bugged me about that game (other than
the loss) was the fact that Indy controlled the line of scrimmage.  When
Pittsburgh did that a few years back I was not surprised because they are
big and physical on both sides of the LOS, but Indy .. Come one now!!!  We
got no pressure on Manning, and did not provide Rex time or many holes to
run through.

Without better protection for Grossman?  I really doubt it.  Sure, Harris
would have helped a lot and Brown would have helped stabilize the defensive
backfield.  But without more from the offense I still see the defense out
there all day getting worn down.

Could eb wrong but IMO the Bears best hope for improvement this year will
come from Grossman and the way he handles the pressure from a very good
defensive line.  Without that, I doubt they beat last years' Colts.
