Grossman's INT had nothing to do with bad protection, it was rain and bad
grip (small hands is part of it, lack of focus is another part). One of his
two fall-downs on that awful first-half series was protection-related, but
the other was simply slipping in the rain, as well. I think if you take out
the rain this game could have been a Bears win.
